With an impressive track record of delivering high-value projects, they are now seeking aexperienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Cambridge.
Role Overview:
As Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee the electrical aspects of a major Life Sciences build, with an M&E value of (phone number removed). This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver a flagship project that will push the boundaries of innovation within the life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver the electrical systems on-site, ensuring all works are completed to time, cost, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to coordinate the M&E services for the project.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and seamless execution.
- Oversee the electrical design process, provide technical guidance, and manage project delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and support staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to meet project objectives.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally within the Life Sciences or similar sectors.
- Strong background in managing M&E projects with a value of 10M+.
- Knowledge of relevant health & safety regulations, industry standards, and quality control procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field (desirable).
- Strong understanding within the pre - construction phases
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results on large-scale, complex projects.
