Fantastic Opportunity with one of the leading Building and Civil Engineering Contractors operating throughout the UK.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the team!
Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading all delivery and operational aspects of the project. Working alongside another Senior Project Manager and reporting into an Operations Manager you will be responsible for all delivery aspects of a 160million+ life science project.
It is the Senior Project Managers responsible to;
- Ensure the health & safety of the site staff and subcontractors and that all health & safety regulations are adhered to.
- Assist the procurement and management of subcontractors
- Quality assurance of the build
- Ensure the project is running to programme and within budget
- Be number one on site reporting into a visiting Operations Manager
- Oversee the whole build process from preconstruction - delivery - handover
- Point of contract with the client and be the client liaison
Qualifications
The role will suit an individual who has been working at a Senior Project Management level or as a Project Director who wishes to progress and develop in their career to a more senior role.
Criteria
- Degree Qualified desired
- Background in Civil Engineering desired
- Strong background in Construction
- Good knowledge of RC Frame structures and delivering a large scale construction project circa 150million
