You will provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement and Contracting team in managing procurement processes and contract administration, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and internal policies, supporting the procurement lifecycle from initiation to contract management.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with procurement processes, including preparing procurement documents, coordinating tendering activities, and supporting evaluation processes
- Maintain procurement templates, track procurement timelines, and ensure compliance with Contract Procedure Rules
- Support the management of the e-tendering portal by uploading documents, coordinating Q&A processes, and assisting with supplier notifications
- Ensure proper documentation and storage of contracts, contract modifications, and procurement reports
- Conduct due diligence checks, including credit checks on suppliers, and assist in risk assessments
- Maintain and update the Contract Register and ensure all procurement activities are recorded in accordance with transparency obligations
- Support supplier and market engagement events, recording attendance and ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines
- Assist in monitoring contract performance by collecting and analysing periodic contract performance data
- Prepare procurement notices for publication on the Central Digital platform
- Provide administrative support in moderation meetings, note-taking, and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations
- Assist in preparing governance reports, award reports, contract variations, and procurement exemptions
- Help organise training and awareness sessions on procurement policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, procurement legislation, and best practices
Requirements:
- Some experience in procurement, contract management, or a related administrative role (public sector experience desirable)
- Experience with e-tendering portals or procurement management systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Understanding of financial and compliance requirements in contract management
