The company

Our client is fast growing manufacturing business based in Cambridgeshire, who due to growth wish to appoint a Quality Manager who is ready for their next challenge.

The role
Supporting the Technical Department, you will be responsible for assuring the safety, legality and quality of all products manufactured on the site. Ensuring that the objectives and procedures detailed in the Quality Manuals are met, and to take appropriate corrective action where this is not achieved.
You will provide technical input into product and process development in order to maximise product yield and quality within the limits of the agreed product specification.

The person

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control standards, as well as experience in implementing and managing food safety management systems such as HACCP and BRC, you will also possess excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with production teams and external auditors, as well as the ability to analyse data and identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process.
