About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor
As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be site-based on either pharmaceutical or commercial projects valued around 20m - 50m. You will be joining a successful Main Contractor with over 50 years of experience in the industry. They place a strong emphasis on building a community within the workplace and collaborating to innovate together. Key Responsibilities of Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Looking after subcontractor payments and managing the full downstream process
- Support the preparation of tenders and bids
- Helping with the administration of contracts
- Assisting in preparing and monitoring cost estimations
Key Requirements of Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Live within commutable distance from Cambridge
- Minimum 2 years of experience at a Main Contractor working on projects valued 20m +
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking
