Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Cambridge
Salary: 46,000 to 50,000 plus car & package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a long term, fast paced highways maintenance contract in Cambridge. The Quantity Surveyor will be working closely alongside a busy and growing team and taking responsibility for their own portfolio of work across the framework.

As a Quantity Surveyor, some of your responsibilities will include:

Measuring, recording and valuing work undertaken by subcontractors
Overseeing the frameworks budget, ensuring all costs are inline with the agreed limits
Cost reporting and value management
Preparing and manage tender documents for contractors and suppliers
Assess subcontractor and supplier applications for payment
Manage and resolve contractual disputes that might arise
Identify potential risks relating to costs, time and quality
Maintain regular contact with the client, providing updates on financial and contractual matters

Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have:

Experience in either building or infrastructure work
Be familiar with the NEC or JCT suite of contracts
