About the Role: Quantity Surveyor
We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team based in Cambridge. This role focuses on defects and external works for residential developments, including houses and apartments across 6-7 completed sites. With 3-4 new developments set to go live later this year, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, dynamic team and make a real impact in an expanding region.
Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor
- Manage costs, budgets, and forecasts across multiple projects.
- Oversee external works and ensure defects are addressed to a high standard.
- Handle subcontractor and supplier management, including variations and contracts.
- Use COINS software for project financials and reporting.
- Play a key role in supporting new live projects launching later this year.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor
- Proven experience with residential builds, ideally with housebuilding on your CV.
- Familiarity with COINS software is highly desirable.
- Comfortable managing projects independently and taking full financial responsibility.
- Ideally suited for someone mid-career, looking for a role with autonomy and responsibility.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
