Job Title: Quantity SurveyorLocation: CambridgeSalary: £46,000 to £50,000 plus car & package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a long term, fast paced highways maintenance contract in Cambridge. The Quantity Surveyor will be working closely alongside a busy and growing team and taking responsibility for their own portfolio of work across the framework.
As a Quantity Surveyor, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Measuring, recording and valuing work undertaken by subcontractors
- Overseeing the frameworks budget, ensuring all costs are inline with the agreed limits
- Cost reporting and value management
- Preparing and manage tender documents for contractors and suppliers
- Assess subcontractor and supplier applications for payment
- Manage and resolve contractual disputes that might arise
- Identify potential risks relating to costs, time and quality
- Maintain regular contact with the client, providing updates on financial and contractual matters

Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have:
- Experience in either building or infrastructure work
