Bennet and Game is partnering with a highly regarded Civil Engineering, Groundworks, and Demolition specialist in Cambridge to seek an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with the Directors to secure, manage, and deliver projects, ensuring high standards and profitability across the board. You'll play a key role in managing project finances, from formulating detailed costings and valuations to maintaining overall financial control on each project.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
- Prepare, negotiate, and analyze budget costs.
- Offer advice on legal and contractual matters while identifying and managing commercial risks.
- Produce and present monthly Cost Value Reconciliations for ongoing projects.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships within the project team.
- Prepare detailed costing, bills of quantities (BOQs), valuations, and quotations.
- Maintain financial control over projects to secure profitability within the contracting division.
- Undertake some estimating responsibilities as needed.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
- HNC or Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a Civil Engineering Contractor.
- Knowledge of JCT & NEC forms of contract.
- Strong estimating skills and financial acumen.
- Ambition to progress within a growing company.
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
