Salary: c70k-75k basic plus competitive package inc car or allowance, healthcare, bonus, pension etc.

Company & Project: A successful Main Contractor with an excellent reputation in the Cambridgeshire market are looking to grow their Commercial team due to new projects secured in the county. The business works across the Mixed-Use, Education, Leisure and Science sectors.

The successful candidate will be joining the business to work on an Education project c20m in value.

The company has an excellent staff retention rate, with numerous examples of surveyors who have joined their team at QS level progressing to SQS, Managing QS and further. With a clear structure and programme in place for their employees personal development, this role is to work closely with a Managing QS that is very well thought of and would act as an excellent mentor.

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing daily commercial management functions, including but not limited to; measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts .

Desirable Experience:

• Minimum 5 years+ experience as an QS working for a Main Contractor.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience working in a team.
• BSc in Quantity Surveying or Comparable qualification.
• Previous Roles: Assistant Quantity Surveyor OR Project QS OR Trainee Quantity Surveyor.

Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or comparable qualification.
