A wonderful opportunity has arisen for one of our regular clients, they are looking for a client-focused and supportive professional to join their existing team as a Property Manager or Lettings Negotiator. Working as the Lettings Negotiator you will be joining a well-established boutique firm where they really care about making sure that the Landlord and Property owner's investment are well cared for and looked after. At the same time it is about working with the Tenants to make sure that they find the best place for their needs and assisting them in that journey but also making sure that they are a good fit for the landlord's property.

As a Lettings Negotiator, you will be organised with strong administration skills and enjoy interacting with people. Day to day you will find a varied workload as one moment you could be preparing contracts and doing due diligence with regards to the tenants or liaising with a supplier to help resolve and issue at one of the properties. No 2 days will be the same and if you enjoy variety and autonomy on a day-to-day basis then this position will really offer you that.

This very busy and varied position will would suit someone who can work independently and make this role their own. The working hours are Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 and if this sounds like the kind of position that you would love then this could be of interest to you! As a Letting Negotiator you will be:

  • Property Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of rental properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all regulations.
  • Tenant Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Landlord Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for landlords, providing regular updates and ensuring their properties are managed effectively.
  • Supplier Engagement: resolving issues that may arise at the properties by getting in touch with a professional to rectify the issues
  • Marketing: Create and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants, including online listings, social media campaigns, and local advertising.
  • Viewings: Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants, highlighting the features and benefits of each property.
  • Negotiations: Handle negotiations between landlords and tenants, ensuring fair and mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Documentation: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, including tenancy agreements, inventories, and compliance certificates.

As a Lettings Negotiator you will have:

  • Proven experience in lettings or property management or an interest in getting involved in the industry
  • Happy to build upon knowledge of the local property market and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
