Housing Sales Consultant 

  • Location: Cambridge, Peterborough and Huntingdon – Working within the Farringdon office once per week with the rest of the time out onsite
  • Salary: £37,565 + bonus

We are seeking an experienced and proactive New Build Sales Consultant to join a Large Social Housing Organisation. You will be instrumental in delivering sales reservations across various sites or from a single large-scale site within the region. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in new homes sales and knowledge or experience in shared ownership.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Operate onsite from the Sales Office/Show home/Head office from Tuesday to Saturday, 9am-5.30pm.
  • Manage Sales and Marketing suites and show homes, ensuring high levels of presentation and brand promotion.
  • Ensure all sales enquiries/leads are contacted within 48 hours.
  • Arrange and conduct viewings, surveys, completions, and home demonstrations as required.
  • Monitor all void properties weekly to ensure their ongoing security.
  • Ensure that all properties are reserved in line with policies and procedures, including eligibility, affordability, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in new homes sales, particularly with affordable housing schemes
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Sales within New Build Housing or Social Housing 
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Experience working with CRM and Sales Management systems.
  • Must have own transport, a full license, and be willing to use it for work purposes.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with potential buyers, guiding them through all necessary information required when buying a shared ownership home.
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
