Manpower is looking for a Recycling Operative to join our client in Cambridge. You will play a key role in precious metal recovery process, working closely with the research team to ensure accurate sampling and tracking. This is a practical, hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a commitment to health and safety, and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness in the workspace. Working days Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. Pay rate 12.21 to 14.28 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
To be responsible for a new leaching process, inc. sample intake, material tracking, equipment maintenance, health and safety and experiment execution.
Loading, emptying and monitoring process vessels.
Operating filter press and other filtration equipment as required. (Full training will be provided)
Data input - inputting information from the owned process onto shared documents for tracking.
Helping hand - being generally available to assist colleagues across departments
Maintaining Health and Safety standards
Maintenance of general machinery, and process related equipment.
Lab assistance - providing non-technical support for lab staff, including sample collection, data input and maintaining a clean and safe lab work area

What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a production or recycling environment
IT proficient
Basic Chemistry knowledge (desirable but not essential)
Good communication
Supporting team members
Happy to work in isolation and as part of a team
Forklift experience (desirable but not essential)
A practical, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious approach to work
