Research Executive

We are super excited to be expanding our team and are looking for an individual who wants to continue their journey or enter into the world of consumer research and work for the UK’s leading food and beverage group.

The role would suit an individual who is looking to significantly grow with an organisation and be part of the growth journey.

This could be suitable for a recent graduate from a social sciences background, or someone who has some consumer research experience.

As a group we work with clients of all sizes, from start-ups to the world’s biggest corporates, working across manufacturing, food service and retail.

This is a full-time, permanent role.

This can be a hybrid role: based in one of the offices with flexibility to work from home, or

Mainly working from home with occasional travel to one of the offices.

Salary from £24k up to £30k pa

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As Research Executive you work closely with the wider research team to deliver the smooth execution of quantitative and qualitative research projects. You will be involved at every stage of the research process, including recruitment, survey scripting, fieldwork, data analysis, reporting and presenting to clients.

As the business grows, we see this role developing and you taking on more responsibilities and projects as they evolve.

This is a flexible role, working to different project scopes, depending on client needs. The role will require you to be a self-starter, have initiative and resourcefulness and also have a true passion for food and drink.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to work customer facing and represent Good Sense Research in the highest professionalism and manner expected. You will need to be an adaptable individual and be able to work both autonomously and as a team.

  • Proficient with Microsoft office programs
  • Knowledge of SPSS or similar
  • Organised and self-starting.
  • Confidence and ability to make decisions without consulting Directors where appropriate, while understanding where it is important to do so.
  • Friendly, confident and professional
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude
  • Flexibility towards working hours and ability to travel when needed.
  • A curiosity about consumer opinions
  • Confidence in interrogating data
  • Previous research experience is desirable but not essential
  • Car owner/car driver useful
