As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in my client's growing accountancy practice based in central Cambridge. Your responsibilities will include preparing client management accounts using QuickBooks Online, handling sole trader accounts and personal tax returns, and preparing and filing VAT returns and annual statutory financial statements. You will also support clients with ad hoc financial analysis and manage administrative tasks such as setting up new clients on the system.
Experience with accountancy or tax qualifications, such as AAT, ACCA, ICAEW, or ATT, is desirable. However, part-qualified candidates or those with significant relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
