I am pleased to be supporting a Charity in Central Cambridge currently who are looking for someone to support on a part time, temporary basis.This is a great role for someone looking for a flexible working week. You'll be required to work 25 hours a week - days/times you work are flexible.Preferably you'll have an interest in their sector and want to be on site with them more often than not! But they are open to some WFH if this is required. Location: Central Cambridge - with free on site parking and good public transport connections.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage income/expenditure reports, cash flow, account transfers, grant receipts, and rent payments.
  • Maintain financial records using Excel and QuickBooks
  • Perform bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and credit control.
  • Support in preparing annual accounts for audit and liaise with auditors.
  • Handle all banking transactions and weekly service charge collections.
  • Update city council on arrivals/departures, track rent payments, and assist in grant applications and budgeting.
  • Collaborate on reports for trustees, funders, and prepare annual reports.

Experience of working on Quickbooks is essential for this role as you'll initially need to be able to clear a backlog and sort out a bit of a mess!
