Senior Finance Assistant
Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Process invoices, expense claims, and payments accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage customer invoices and payments, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.
Financial Reporting and Month-End Close
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Produce and analyze financial reports to support management decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Monitor budget performance, highlighting variances and providing insights.
Profile
A successful Senior Finance Assistant should have:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional qualification such as AAT
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent accounting software user administration skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
