Our client is a well established, independent diagnostic laboratory providing services to veterinary practices across the UK and worldwide.
Location:
This role is located in Cambridge and is site based.
Role:
- Support the Office Manager and other members of the team in striving for customer service excellence in internal and external activities as well as performing all routine administration duties.
- Sample reception and scanning of requests into computer system (Matrix).
- Use of the Matrix LIMS system and data entry.
- Answering the telephone to clients and answering email enquiries from clients.
- Preparation and dispatch of laboratory supplies to clients.
- Filing of request forms.
- Adherence to written Operating Procedures and Health & Safety rules.
- Awareness of radioactive procedures as defined by the Environment Agency.
Your Background:
- Qualification or experience in a scientific environment would be an advantage.
- Ability to learn and understandthe important elements of laboratory diagnostic testing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Excellent care and attention to detail and organisational skills.
- An interest in science relating to animals.
