As the Technical Team Lead you will be working in a laboratory environment working with ICP-MS/ICP-OES equipment, leading a small team of lab technicians. You will also be responsible for the management of the Quality Management System. My client have an open door policy, open to new ideas, quick agile decisions made with your input.

Description

  • Lead and supervise a small lab team, ensuring efficient workflow
  • Work with ICP-MS / ICP-OES equipment
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures
  • Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage resources effectively to meet project objectives
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members
  • Stay updated with latest industry trends and technologies

Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (Flexible start/finish time offered)

Profile

A successful Senior Laboratory Technician/Technical Team Leader with experience working in a testing/manufacturing environment, as well as:

  • A recognised qualification in a Science (E.g. HNC/Degree)
  • Analytical Chemistry/Environmental Chemistry work experience would be beneficial
  • Technical mindset/skillset
  • Working knowledge of ICP-MS/ICP-OES would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills - able to communicate to various stakeholders
