Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Science lessons that foster curiosity and develop students' understanding of the subject.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching: Deliver engaging Science lessons at KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of teaching at KS5 for experienced candidates.
- Lesson Planning: Design and deliver innovative lessons that inspire a love for Science, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experiments.
- Student Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing detailed feedback to support their academic development and exam readiness.
- Curriculum Development: Work collaboratively with the Science Department to enhance the curriculum, integrating current scientific developments and best practices.
- School Engagement: Participate in department meetings, school initiatives, and contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive school culture.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Science or a related field and have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4. Experience teaching at KS5 is desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone passionate about Science, skilled at making the subject accessible, and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.

- Qualifications: QTS or equivalent, with a degree in Science or a closely related subject.
- Experience: Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience preferred but not essential.
