About the Role:

As a Science Teacher, you'll play a vital role in shaping students' understanding of the world around them and nurturing their scientific inquiry. This fulfilling role involves:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated Science lessons across Key Stages 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), with the potential for KS5 teaching depending on your experience and specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
  • Creating a stimulating and interactive learning environment, incorporating experiments, technology, and real-world applications to bring science to life.
  • Fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills, encouraging students to explore scientific concepts through inquiry and experimentation.
  • Collaborating with a supportive team of Science teachers, sharing best practices, and contributing to departmental development.

About You:

  • You are a qualified Teacher holding QTS (or equivalent) with a specialisation in Science.
  • You possess a deep understanding of the Science curriculum at the secondary level and a passion for making science engaging and accessible to students of all abilities.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues alike.
