About the Role:

As an SEMH Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong and trusting relationships with students, creating a safe and supportive learning environment where they feel heard and understood.
  • Developing and implementing individualised learning plans that cater to each student's unique needs and learning styles.
  • Utilizing creative and engaging teaching strategies to foster academic progress and social-emotional growth.
  • Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and parents, to provide holistic support for each student.
