Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and dynamic primary school in Cambridgeshire?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HLTA to join our dedicated team. We pride ourselves on creating a positive learning environment that supports the needs of every child, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to making a difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and activities across all areas of the primary curriculum.
- Work with individuals and small groups to provide tailored interventions and support for students with varying needs.
- Supervise and assist in the planning and delivery of learning activities, ensuring inclusion for all pupils.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and engaging environment.
- Monitor and record the progress of students, providing feedback and reports as needed.
- Provide cover for teachers when required, leading lessons and activities independently.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience working in a primary school setting as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and a passion for education.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and support children with different learning needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
- A calm, patient, and professional approach to managing children's behaviour.
- HLTA qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
