Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Cambridgeshire
Position: Full-Time or Flexible Hours Available

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team to support the learning and development of children in a Primary School setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and supporting children's learning across a range of subjects
  • Lead small group interventions to boost pupil progress
  • Provide one-to-one support for children with additional learning needs
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers
  • Support with general classroom management and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in a primary school setting
  • A relevant qualification such as an HLTA status or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to support students with varying needs and abilities
  • A passion for helping children succeed in their education
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
