Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Cambridgeshire
Position: Full-Time or Flexible Hours Available
Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team to support the learning and development of children in a Primary School setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and supporting children's learning across a range of subjects
- Lead small group interventions to boost pupil progress
- Provide one-to-one support for children with additional learning needs
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers
- Support with general classroom management and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in a primary school setting
- A relevant qualification such as an HLTA status or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support students with varying needs and abilities
- A passion for helping children succeed in their education
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
