Automation Engineer (PLC Controls)Cambridge £55,000 - £60,000 + Overtime + Van + Training + Bonus + Pay and Role Progression + Free Lunch

Are you a Automation Engineer with experience with in process control, looking to expand your career in a company that offers great progression and training?

This company manufactures Automated robotic machinery. They offer a wide range of products such as robotic pallet movers, wrappers, pallet feeders and conveyors. They work with many large clients and dedicate themselves to expanding as a business and growing their employees.

On offer is an exciting opportunity to be a part of industry leading company, where you will be servicing, maintaining and installing robotic equipment which can range from Compact Palletisers to Autonomous Mobile Robots. And be able to enhance your skills in the automation industry with excellent internal training.

This role would suit a Automation Engineer who will have previous experience working in the Process Control industry, and would enjoy the opportunity to travel all across the UK.

THIS ROLE

  • Responsible for programming and commission of Automation systems
  • Assist with customer support visit and calls
  • Meet agreed deadlines for programming and commissioning of equipment and systems
  • This role will likely include approximately 60% of time on customer sites.
  • Willingness to travel all over UK for onsite work (expenses paid +£50 per night)
  • Be required to stay overnight in hotels for overnight work (expense paid)
  • Occasional require weekend work and out of hours work (extra pay)

THE PERSON

  • Good mechanical and electrical engineering experience
  • Experience of working with programmes for automated machinery
  • 7:00am-4:00 or 8am-5:00pm
