Social Worker - Family Support and Safeguarding Team
Salary: 39,548 - 42,248 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)
Retention Payments: Up to 7,900 over 3 years (starting after your first full year of employment)

About the Role
As a Social Worker in the Family Support and Safeguarding Team, you will:
- Manage a caseload of Child in Need, Children in need of Protection, Public Law Outline, and care proceedings for children up to the age of 18.
- Use a Motivational Interviewing approach, working in partnership with children and families to drive positive outcomes.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team, including adult mental health, drug and alcohol recovery, and domestic abuse workers.
- Act as the lead professional in safeguarding, ensuring that child protection procedures are followed effectively.
- Produce child-focused reports and plans for various forums, including court, reflecting the child's experience.

About You
We're looking for dynamic individuals who:
- Are qualified Social Workers, registered with Social Work England.
- Have the ability to work independently and travel across various locations within the county.
