Project Worker

A job opportunity has arose for a Project Worker in Cambridge. This is a temporary role for 3 months ongoingLength: Temporary 3 months ongoing Hours: 40 hours per week Shifts: This is a combination of Early Shifts (8am-4:30pm) mid shift (11am-7:30pm) and Late Shifts (1:30pm-10pm)Location: Cambridge The role involves:• Deliver emotional and life skills based support to young people aged 16-24 in supported accommodation• Offer life based support and assist with daily living such as budgeting and preparing to move on into independent accommodation• Actively involve service users in developing their support plans to reach their individual goals and aspirations• Offer advice and assistance to tenants regarding their benefit entitlements, sourcing employment and education opportunities• Provide support and advice to tenants in relation to issues concerning their tenancies• Enforce tenancy conditions in line with procedures including low level Anti-Social Behaviour• Signposting to other support agencies as appropriate including counselling services, drug and alcohol services and housing services
