What You’ll Be Doing:

Join a dynamic Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in Cambridge as a Band 6 Social Worker. You’ll play a vital role in supporting adults experiencing a range of complex mental health issues within the community. Your key responsibilities will include:

? Managing a caseload of service users with varying needs? Conducting comprehensive assessments and creating person-centred care plans? Delivering recovery-focused interventions in line with Care Act and Mental Health Act frameworks? Working collaboratively with MDT colleagues, families, and external agencies? Safeguarding and risk management duties to ensure client safety and wellbeing? Supporting service users’ access to community resources and long-term recovery

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

? A current and valid Social Work England registration? Experience working within a CMHT or similar community mental health setting? Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and mental health legislation? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills? The ability to work independently and manage your own caseload? A valid full UK driver’s licence (preferred but not essential)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM, offering consistency and a healthy work-life balance. The contract is ongoing, with a strong potential for extension based on performance and service demand.
