We are working with a leading telecommunications company based in Cambridge who are looking to add a Software Architect their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and offers remote working.Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the architectural design of complex software solutions
- Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure success delivery of projects
- Creating proof of concepts and prototype solutions
- Staying up to date with latest industry trends and technology updates
- Overseeing the technical direction across multiple projects
- Mentoring junior members of the team
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar role
- Extensive experience in software design and development
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (C++, Java)
- Deep understanding of embedded Linux
- Understanding of the Android AOSP
- Excellent understanding of system architecture
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment
