We are working with a leading telecommunications company based in Cambridge who are looking to add a Software Architect their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and offers remote working.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the architectural design of complex software solutions
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure success delivery of projects
  • Creating proof of concepts and prototype solutions
  • Staying up to date with latest industry trends and technology updates
  • Overseeing the technical direction across multiple projects
  • Mentoring junior members of the team

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Extensive experience in software design and development
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages (C++, Java)
  • Deep understanding of embedded Linux
  • Understanding of the Android AOSP
  • Excellent understanding of system architecture
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
