Service Service are pleased to be partnering with growing SaaS company in Cambridge, as they look to add an experienced DevOps Engineer to their team.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of their cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with their development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment, high availability, and system security.
From a technology perspective, we are looking for candidates to have experience in some of, if not all the following:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a SaaS or cloud-first environment.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI).
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Familiarity with security best practices, cloud security principles, and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator, etc.) are desirable.
Salary for the role is paying up to £80,000 plus benefits. This role is hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office.
