Our client, a leading global organisation is currently recruiting for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team on a contract basis until the end of 2025.Key duties will include but are not limited to:
- Writing code that creates new programs to meet the customer requirements
- Producing relevant project artifacts as required by the software development process
- Contributing to the technology roadmap pipeline
- Developing software verification plans with test engineers
- Assist on quality complaints from the field, providing technical support and understanding root causes
- Providing support on manufacturing processes and methods to meet product requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working with bare metal systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong low-level programming skills in embedded C
- Experience writing test scripts using Python
- Experience working with debugging tools
- Experience working with low level device interfaces
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Knowledge about control system theory in motion control
