Our client, a leading global organisation is currently recruiting for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team on a contract basis until the end of 2025.Key duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Writing code that creates new programs to meet the customer requirements
  • Producing relevant project artifacts as required by the software development process
  • Contributing to the technology roadmap pipeline
  • Developing software verification plans with test engineers
  • Assist on quality complaints from the field, providing technical support and understanding root causes
  • Providing support on manufacturing processes and methods to meet product requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working with bare metal systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong low-level programming skills in embedded C
  • Experience writing test scripts using Python
  • Experience working with debugging tools
  • Experience working with low level device interfaces
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Knowledge about control system theory in motion control
