Ideal Candidate Profile:

* Problem Solver: Enjoys operating in an ever-changing landscape.* Educational Background: Degree from a top 200 globally recognized university, achieving a 2.1 or better in engineering, physics, mathematics, computing, natural sciences, or a related field. Flexibility on the subject studied.* Experience: Proven track record in a DevOps or Site Reliability role within a software company, with hands-on experience in investigating and resolving technical issues.

* Technical Skills:

o Strong understanding of operating systems and IT infrastructure.o Proficient with alerting and monitoring software applications.o Experience with automation, open source technologies, and AWS (Amazon Web Services).o Familiarity with web-based software applications, Elasticsearch, and Node.js.* Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain composed during busy periods.* Relocation: Willingness to relocate to the Cambridge area if not currently residing nearby.

Role Responsibilities:

* Combine problem-solving skills with incident management.* Provide IT security services.* Automate tasks and workflows.* Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure system reliability.
