Title: PHP Laravel Developer Location: Cambridge - Hybrid Currently looking for a talented and passionate PHP, Laravel Developer to join a talented IT team. You will offer at least 3 year's experience working with Laravel, (12 or above) PHP, (8.3 or higher) and Symfony along with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure.

Skills required

  • PHP, Laravel development
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and managing service integrations
  • Database architecture and query optimization
  • Database design, query optimisation, and data modelling
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS EC2/RDS/Lambda, Azure Functions)
  • Contributing to an Internal Developer Platform (IDP), including developer tooling, workflows and templates
  • Knowledge of security best practices including authentication/authorisation and data protection

Nice to have

  • Experience with serverless architecture or microservices
  • Scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, Python) for DevOps or automation tasks
