We are currently supporting a long-term client of ours who are looking to add a Senior Software Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis with the option of remote working.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Take ownership for developing IT solutions that support services and products.
  • Building and deploying scalable systems and applications.
  • Drive collaboration, leading on design sessions, pair programming and backlog grooming.
  • Collaborate with a wider international team.
  • Analysing business requirements working with internal teams to design documentation.
  • Oversee maintenances and upgrades of existing software applications.
  • Providing support in all phases of SDLC.
  • Troubleshooting issues in a timely manner.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience developing Java applications.
  • Experience with AWS Services (S3,EC2,Lambda,RDS).
  • Experience with Agile working.
  • Experience working with RESTful services.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts across various teams.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to understand user requests.
