We are currently supporting a long-term client of ours who are looking to add a Senior Software Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis with the option of remote working.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Take ownership for developing IT solutions that support services and products.
- Building and deploying scalable systems and applications.
- Drive collaboration, leading on design sessions, pair programming and backlog grooming.
- Collaborate with a wider international team.
- Analysing business requirements working with internal teams to design documentation.
- Oversee maintenances and upgrades of existing software applications.
- Providing support in all phases of SDLC.
- Troubleshooting issues in a timely manner.
- Support and mentor junior members of the team.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience developing Java applications.
- Experience with AWS Services (S3,EC2,Lambda,RDS).
- Experience with Agile working.
- Experience working with RESTful services.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts across various teams.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to understand user requests.
