Our client, a leading global organisation is currently recruiting for an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join their team on a contract basis until the end of 2025.Key duties will include but are not limited to:
- Working closely with internal teams to define test scopes
- Collaborating with Engineers to develop comprehensive test strategies for projects
- Analysing test results and identifying improvement opportunities
- Developing automated testing frameworks and scripts
- Addressing potential software issues during production in the field
- Producing relevant project artifacts as required
- Proactively identifying areas for process improvements within the testing process
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in developing test cases for embedded software
- Experience of developing hardware and integration test cases
- Ability to find hardware faults through software
- Experience with Python test automation frameworks such as Pytest
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies
- Strong debugging skills
