Software Tester

We're working with a leading fintech company seeking an exceptional Software Tester to join their innovative team. Specializing in payment applications for Android and Linux POS systems, they're committed to empowering businesses through human-centred design thinking and cutting-edge payment solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to become their first dedicated Software Tester, giving you the unique chance to shape testing strategy from the ground up and establish quality assurance best practices that will drive their continued success.

As a Software Tester, you will:

  • Lead the quality assurance efforts for their Android and API-based payment solutions
  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and documentation
  • Conduct thorough API testing for REST-based services
  • Execute detailed Android application testing across multiple scenarios
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues
  • Create clear, user-friendly technical documentation for client use
  • Help establish and maintain testing best practices

To excel in this role, you will be:

  • An experienced software tester with a proven track record in API and Android testing
  • A clear communicator capable of translating technical concepts into accessible documentation
  • An analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
  • A self-starter ready to build testing processes from the ground up
  • Passionate about maintaining high-quality standards in software delivery

Technical Proficiency Desired:

  • Solid experience in API testing (REST)
  • Strong background in Android application testing
  • Knowledge of test automation (advantageous)
  • Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or Ruby (beneficial)
  • AWS experience (beneficial)
