Learning Support Assistants - ASD Specialists - Cambridge

Timeplan Education, Cambridge Branch, are currently looking for Learning Supports Assistants & SEND Teaching Assistants to work in an all-area Special school based in Cambridge with provision for 250 students between 2 and 19 years of age. Each student has an Education Health and Care Plan.

The school is a warm and welcoming place, and they strive to provide all pupils with a bespoke experience utilising their already existing excellent staff and are proud of their purpose built facilities that provides catered educational services for students with Autism, ADHD, Downs Syndrome amongst others and vary from minor to more severe disabilities.

The ideal candidates will be;

  • Available immediately
  • Passionate about working with Special Needs
  • Strong academically (ideally degree-educated or 1+ years' experience in an SEN environment school)
  • Hold a valid DBS
  • Friendly and open-minded
  • Have some exposure to Special Needs

The role would also suit degree qualified individuals looking to progress into a career in Clinical or Educational Psychology.
