A leading dyslexia school in Cambridge, is seeking a Qualified Teacher to join their team and make a long lasting impact on the lives of SEN students.

About the Role:

As a Dyslexia Specialist Teacher, you will work with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, providing tailored instruction and support to address their individual learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth.
  • Developing and implementing individualised learning plans utilising evidence-based interventions and multisensory teaching approaches.
  • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters confidence, self-esteem, and a love of learning.
  • Collaborating with parents, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's development.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
  • Specific qualifications and experience in teaching students with dyslexia are required, such as a SpLD assessment qualification (e.g., PATOSS, dyslexia diploma).
