This company is a market leader in their field and they are looking for a highly experienced Head of Purchasing with a background in Engineering including exposure to electronics components, to define and deliver the global supply chain strategy for the business, delivering maximum value to all stakeholders. This will use a combination of your strategic, leadership and hands on skills.

With a great culture based in modern facilities within a lovely location just outside of Cambridge, you will be responsible for managing all procurement activities, playing a critical role in optimising costs, ensuring the timely delivery of products and service as well as building strong supplier relationships.

  • Have strong influencing / negotiation skills
  • Are a team player & be able to work with stakeholders across multiple disciplines
  • Are prepared to travel internationally

To complement this, you should also ideally be

  • Degree qualified
  • Have a professional qualification such as MCIPS

Due to the travel involved with this role, you need to have a full, clean, driving licence & your own car. Travel expenses will be paid.
