This company is a market leader in their field and they are looking for a highly experienced Purchasing Manager with a recent background in Electronics, Engineering, Telecommunications speicifcally related to the purchase of electronics components to define and deliver the global supply chain strategy for the business, delivering maximum value to all stakeholders.

You will be responsible for managing all procurement activities, playing a critical role in optimising costs, ensuring the timely delivery of products and service as well as building strong supplier relationships.

  • Experience of offshore contract manufacturing management
  • Provide clear direction to your team
  • Lead by example
  • Have experience working with global suppliers
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Are able to remain informed when dealing with large volumes of information and prioritise issues within a complex organisation
  • Have strong influencing / negotiation skills
  • Are a team player & be able to work with stakeholders across multiple disciplines
  • Are prepared to travel internationally

You have the attributes to be successful in this role and showcase your skills.

To complement this, you should also ideally be

  • Degree qualified
  • Have a professional qualification such as MCIPS
  • Have strong Excel skills
  • Have detailed Microsoft AX knowledge.

Due to the travel involved with this role, you need to have a full, clean, driving licence & your own car. Travel expenses will be paid.
