Our client is a well known mechanical and electrical contractor, and is seeking aQuantity Surveyor with M&E experience to join their growing team in Cambridge.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing project budgets, preparing cost reports, and ensuring financial control from inception through to completion.
  • Support the preparation and evaluation of tenders and procurement of subcontractor packages.
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring commercial viability.
  • Administer contracts and oversee the financial aspects of M&E services.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

Requirements:

  • A background in mechanical and electrical services is essential.
  • A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
