Office based: Cambridge

Remuneration: £36,000 + Discretionary Performance BonusBenefits: Private Pension, Private Medical Insurance, 25 + Days The role of the Senior Technical Sales Coordinator - Formwork & Falsework / Ground Engineering will involve:

• Technical sales coordinator selling a wide range of products such as groundworks, reinforcements, concrete accessories, waterproofing and engineered formwork and falsework solutions
• Selling to main contractors, builders merchants, end users and the trade
• Delegating sales tasks amongst the wider team to ensure efficient processes
• Oversee the production of quotes and their follow-ups
• Work with the Internal Sales Manager to support the sales team with any queries
• Answering calls, following up on sales leads and dealing with all technical enquiries
• Produce quotations, verify invoices and following the process through to the end
• Dealing with projects ranging from small hire sales for £100 up to large bespoke projects of circa £600k

The ideal applicant will be Senior Technical Sales Coordinator - Formwork & Falsework / Ground Engineering with:

• Must have sales experience within the construction industry
• Ideally will have supervisory/people management experience
• Ideally experience in a builders merchant or have an understanding of the client base
• Would consider someone working within a builders merchant within a: management, commercial, operational or coordinator/negotiator position
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organised, confident and personable
• Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
• IT literate as required to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
