Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative team in the development of cutting-edge RF solutions. This role focuses on designing and evolving application-specific Integrated Passive Devices (IPDs) that are key components in advanced RF systems. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, modeling, and optimization of passive components such as inductors, transformers, and couplers. These components will be created on complex substrates to meet critical RF performance criteria and product constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: Create high-performance passive components including inductors, transformers, and capacitors, with a focus on optimizing parameters such as Q, component values, and size.

  • 3D Modeling: Develop 3D models of designed components to enhance understanding and facilitate further product development.

  • EM Simulations: Perform electromagnetic simulations to validate the performance and reliability of designed components.

  • Simulation Models: Develop simulation models that can be used by other RF designers to optimize component structures, including filters.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to integrate and optimize passive RF components within larger system solutions.

  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of the design and development process for future reference, including patent applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in RF engineering, specifically in the design of Integrated Passive Devices (IPDs).
  • Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and electromagnetic (EM) simulations.
  • In-depth understanding of RF principles and the design of passive RF components.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
