Job Title: Lecturer - Travel and Tourism
Hours: Mon to Fri - Full Time
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hourly Rate: £30 - £45 per hour (DOE and Qualifications)
Salary: £27,000 - £40,500 (DOE and Qualifications)

Herts Resourcing Group (HRG) is currently working with a college in Cambridge and we’re looking for a quality assurance expert with a drive for continuous improvement within the construction team. It is expected that the post holder will contribute to course design, development of programmes and the expansion of the area generally.
What You’ll Do (including but not limited to):
- Lead the charge in driving ongoing quality improvement across their apprenticeship programmes.
- Provide overarching quality assurance for full-time provisions.
- Prepare electronic Schemes of Work and Schemes of Assessment.
- Carry out moderation/ assessment and verification in line with college and awarding body standards.
- Arrange and support the work experience programme/employer engagement.
- Liaise with external awarding bodies representatives e.g., External Verifiers/moderators.
- Take an active role in the regular learner review process.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Relevant degree or business/ travel and tourism industry experience.
- Must have knowledge of policies and procedures within the industry, Including recent changes in industry expectations and trends.
- Ability to generate creative teaching and learning materials.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Caring and supportive approach to students.
- Flexibility and willingness to tackle new roles and tasks.
- Positive approach to both routine and changing tasks.
- To promote and safeguard the welfare of children and vulnerable Adults.
You must have:
- Experience of teaching and assessing within a Further Education sector in the UK.
- Significant experience of conducting assessment processes is preferred.
- Recent Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Evidence of significant sector experience.
- The right to work in the UK.
