Overall Role

Undertake field service activities including repair, service, maintenance, commissioning of new and used plant machines on customer premises or job site, always working to written job instructions, quality system, budgets, and health and safety policy. The role will involve extensive travel and nights away.

KPIs

1. Service jobs completed to timescale

2. Service jobs completed to budget and hours.

Scope of authority to act on behalf of the company:

1. Requisition of parts for service jobs to agreed budgets.

Main duties and responsibilities

1. Carry out field service jobs including the repair, service, and commissioning of special purpose machinery and recycling equipment. This will include fault finding on electrics and hydraulics.

2. Use laptop for diagnostics on field service jobs.

3. Ensure all paperwork related to the job is completed daily and returned to the service

office on completion.

4. When working on site the correct company image is to be presented including the wearing of company uniform and PPE.

5. A company presentation file is to be always kept in the van and stocked with business

cards, spec sheets and any other company literature.

6. When dealing with customers a professional manner is to be used to present and promote the individual, the company, and the products in the best way possible.
