The Community Occupational Therapist (OT) provides client-centered, goal-oriented occupational therapy services to individuals across all ages in a community setting. The OT evaluates and implements treatment plans to enhance clients’ abilities in daily activities, improve their independence, and increase overall quality of life. This role involves working collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams in diverse settings, including clients' homes, community centers, clinics, and residential care facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment and Treatment Planning:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
    • Develop individualized care plans, setting realistic and achievable goals for each client based on their unique needs and desired outcomes.
    • Adapt treatment plans and interventions based on ongoing assessments and progress evaluations.
