THE ROLEAs a Semi Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and submission of annual accounts, as well as quarterly VAT reports and returns for statutory bodies. You will be responsible for creating final sets of accounts using Digita software, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, you will mentor and support trainees, assisting them with various accountancy tasks and administrative processes. This role requires frequent interaction with clients and colleagues, making strong communication skills essential.

REQUIREMENTSThe ideal candidate will have:• A minimum of three years’ experience within an accountancy practice.• A versatile skill set, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.• A solid understanding of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and their accounting requirements.• Proficiency in accounting software and systems commonly used in practice.• A high level of personal and professional integrity.• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
