As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the business. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and assist in maintaining financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Support the accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and assist in financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Assist with year-end audits and financial statements preparation.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects as required.


Qualifications:

  • AAT/CIMA/ACCA Studier
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
