Focus will be on existing client management, offering an exceptional service whilst identifying areas for growth, introducing new product ranges, and securing additional business opportunities.

This role will be managing key accounts across the North East. After an initial 6 month training period you will spend 50% of your time on the road and 50% in the offices here in Cannock.

This is an exciting Account Management role, you will work alongside a dedicated team managing your territory and will collectively work to achieve business goals. You will have the support of an internal sales team and will work collaboratively with the wider business.

The Job - Key Account Manager:

  • Develop and execute the sales plan for your territory.
  • Build rapport and trust with all decision makers within your client base.
  • Complete account reviews in line with targets.
  • Obtain new opportunities arising from account reviews and sales visits within existing client base.
  • Proactive outbound calling to customers.
  • Produce sales reports for internal management.
  • Work closely alongside your team, supporting on additional meetings when needed.
  • Complete tenders and manage price reviews.
  • Manage gross profit, applying price increases when needed.
  • Proactively resolve client issues such as slow-moving stock, account queries, lost business etc.
  • Attend regular meetings within your territory to ensure team accountability, direction and productivity
  • Tiered commission structure.
  • Car allowance.
