As a dual Registered Manager, you'll be integral to the smooth running of daily life within two of our homes, enabling our children and young people to thrive. Both homes will have an experienced Assistant Manager to support you alongside a Team Leader. A salary of up to £55,000 is being offered

You will be responsible for

  • Managing a warm and friendly homes that provides a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to achieve positive outcomes that are authentic to them.
  • Achieving compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and ensuring your home is always able to evidence a high standard of care and quality.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the care team to ensure the highest standards of care for children and young people
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential homes, including staffing, resources, and facilities management.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child, with a focus on promoting their well-being and development
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for both staff and residents, promoting a culture of empathy, trust, honesty, integrity, compassion, and safeguarding

Skills and experience required

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted home that carries a rating of good or above.
  • You hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification in Children and Young People
  • Willing to undertaking a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management so you have all the knowledge and skills you need to help your team achieve success.
